What does comsumer reports have to say about LG appliances?

Does anyone have anything usefulness or bad to say about LG appliances as I am planning a purchase soon.

A confrere at work just bought a set of $1000 LG washer/dryer, got it accommodations and the washer didn;t work. Then she was told it would be 4-6 weeks for a replacement. She is pissed! I would not buy Korean appliances at this underscore. Quality is
