Flinchy's debuts Raclette grill By CHRIS MAUTNER, The Loyalist-News February 01, 2010, 6:00PM Do you hanker for a hunk of cheese? If so Flinchy’s has what you needfulness, though it may not be quite you expect.

The Lower Allen Twp. restaurant, located at 1833 Hummel Ave., recently acquired a Raclette grill. Raclette is a kind of cheese indigenous to areas of Switzerland and France. The cheese is frenzied, usually via an electric table-top grill, and then scraped onto a plate.

The cheese is brought to the listing sliced, and with accompanying platters of potatoes, vegetables, seafood or sliced meats, which can then be impassioned on the grill. The cheese is usually poured over the food onto the plate.

Because the restaurant only has one grill close by, they’ll only be serving the Raclette once a night, according to co-proprietor Dawson Flinchbaugh.
