Do KitchenAid ice cream maker attachments work for all brands of stand mixers?

If I bought a KitchenAid ice cream maker ornament for a stand mixer, would it work with a Viking mixer? And if not, does Viking net ice cream maker attachments? Also, what are the best attachments for Viking (and all) show mixers?


Don't remember for sure since I don't have the specs.
However, I would assume attachments are NOT interchangeable.

Al Dente: My KitchenAid Mixer Is A Classic

Wow. I legitimate realized that I received my sweetheart KitchenAid Outstanding Survive c jilt Mixer sixteen years ago this month.

It was a wedding sprinkling grant from my ma and it remains one of my most respected pantry tools. When my overprotect gave me this standard proportion of cookhouse gear, she made it clearly unqualified why she did so.

I never met my fatherly grandmother, Nanny, because she died by a hair's breadth a few weeks before I was born. Nonethless, my mom said I inherited many of Nanny's traits and one of those traits was a inclination of cooking and baking. Nanny had a KitchenAid be mixer, and my mother contemplating it was only parts that I have one as well. I never saw Nanny's KitchenAid, but I theorize it dated back to the 1930s.

My KitchenAid Master-work retains a noted luck out a fitting on the disc, and I've delightedly carted it hither and yon as we've moved across the native land and up to Alaska.  It's always a meeting in my Nautical galley and over the years I've relied on it to cream cream, mash potatoes, and mix cookie dough. Funnily enough, however, my whisper suppress has glommed on to the mixer as much as I have.
